I think we all have a memorable MC that we love. What made you like her? what’s special about her? I want to know about your preferences. One of my favorite MC’s is Celia from BTM, she is kind and sweet, I really felt bad for all the conflicts that she had in the story (not going to spoil anything).

I don’t have one, I pretty much have two.
I love MC from Asunder by Alysia Grey because I can relate to her so much, including the way she thinks and the experiences she’s had/is still dealing with.
I also like Carrie from I Need a Therapist by Clem because she’s really kind and she’s a neat mix of weak and strong at the same time (emotionally).

Ava from Dare to Dream by Sarah Robbins. She’s super hardworking and takes care of her mum as much as possible. I also love the fact that she gives people chances and she’s humble.
(Also the LI is suuuuuper cute, and him and Ava are just fhenuioghure so good)

Maybe this is a cultural difference, but it weird to me to read stories that don’t involve the family at all, so I like when the MC has a close relationship with their family
My mom told me that in the United States young adults tend to be more detached from their parents and that’s weird where I live…

Yes yes I totally agree. I do also find it weird that a lot of stories just have the kid in high school/college, and the story doesn’t show the family, and the MC just aces classes even though she parties all the time haha.

I envy these kinds of people!
Unfortunately, I know some of them in real life, they don’t study at all but still have perfect grades. That’s why I include hard-working and organized characters in my stories. It’s more realistic if you show the process and not just make them “smart”

Yes! I was about to say this too, Ava from Dare to Dream is amazing. She’s so kind and hardworking… but she also gives off another vibe (Idk how to explain this) which I love.
