# Why can't we have more than ONE condition inside an IF statement for the point system?

I find it completely inconvenient to not have this available. Not being able to add more than one condition in an IF statement just makes your branching more complex and your script longer. Usually in real programming we are able to do this, but I’ve tried it here for my point system, and I can’t find anything that works. I’m not sure if gains have this available, which I highly doubt… Anyway, I tried the most logical one for the Episode sintax using AND and OR:

Example A
if(COIN =1 OR COIN =2){
NARR
This Happens.
}

Example B
if(JUANITO =1 AND SARAH =1){
NARR
This Happens.
}

… And none of this seems to work, even if I put && or || which are commonly used in programming. Then I’d have to do something like this to get the job done:

Example A but working
if(COIN =1){
NARR
This Happens.
}
if(COIN =2){
NARR
This Happens.
}

Example B but working
if(JUANITO =1){
goto checkSecondCoin
}
label checkSecondCoin
if(SARAH =1){
NARR
This Happens.
}

Now just imagine doing the working Example B but with more conditions… Yeah, not so convenient than what I showed you in the beginning huh? Plus look how many more lines of coding you’re using! I’m just wondering WHY?! It’s the most basic, yet useful command we could have. Kay, I think I’m done ranting about this I would love to hear your thoughts about this, and if there is a more simplified way to do this, lemme ya girl know.

Actually gains are able to be put together!

Maybe try lowercasing the and???

I tried it but it also doesn’t work. When I put the AND either in lowercase or uppercase, as long as the first condition is correct, it’ll go through, so it doesn’t consider the conditions after the first AND in the if statement. Also, I tried the OR with lowercase and nothing… Maybe it works for the gains but not for the point system? Kinda sucks cuz it’ll make things so much easier

I guess you did give another solution though, switching from counters to gains if I wanna use many ANDs

Would it make a huge difference if you used gains instead? Otherwise you can switch over so you can use the ability to have multiple gains and condense your script~

Actually nvm, it wouldn’t work because I need the counter. So if I have a counter going up to 10, I’d need to create 10 gains. Also, I don’t think you can remove those, or can you?

Instead of write equel to = write Gretheaer than <> dont remeber which of this it is

Nah, gains can’t be removed.

I’ll try with the less and greater than :’)
