Why crossovers are forbidden?

I would never do a crossover but why they are forbidden? Is there a reason? I just want to know why. It’s not like i will have a crossover and if I have it will be between my own stories.

Jem linked you the thread that will give you more information about crossover guidelines, but if you’re wanting to have crossovers between your own stories, there’s nothing against that. The rules are only about doing crossovers with other people.
