Did you make the cover or did somebody else make it for you?

You should ask them were they got it from. If it was from a stock image site it is probably free to use. If they just grabbed it off google without using the appropriate search filters, it is probably copy written.

I think it is probably the implication of shooting the zombies? Not sure though, sorry : /

It looks really good, who drew it for you?

That can’t be. I’ve seen covers with guns in them and they don’t get taken down.
It’s the blood. Most likely an overuse of red.

Welp.
That’s their reasoning right there. Probably comes down to a combination of the blood, cuts on her face and his arm and the gun. Maybe if you took away some of it, it won’t seem too extreme to them and will get approved?

I emailed them and asked them what is acceptable.

They said it was too violent which probably means the Blood splatter behind the text/ on her face/ on his arm/ her arm. So probably too much blood in general Which is BS I think this cover is great!

that’s a zombie story I read. the cover has blood in it so idk

I think it’s the fact that the character themselves are bleeding. Like you can show blood but not coming out of a guy I guess. That might be what they mean by “Violence”
