People are getting episode backgrounds, and maybe other backgrounds that aren’t episode related, from Pintrest. Why is that? Let me hear your views/opinions about this topic.

When I first started, I would google my backgrounds some was from Pinterest. I did not even realize people where actually making them. I personally thought they were from episodes backgrounds. But then when I started using the forum and saw threads about this. I stopped and removed the ones I used from pinterest. So now I use a lot Pixabay. Or just make my own. My opinion I think people who are new with episodes thinks maybe the same way I did.

Hm… I guess they prefer to use Pintrest, is because, people upload good stuff on that site, and it attracts others to use it.
Also, they don’t have to give credit. Since it does not say who is the creator. Some people do not like to give credit. It’s sad. It can be easier for them also.
That’s the thing. Like, whenever people make their backgrounds and upload them to pintrest, it’s hard for the person whos using that background to find the owner who created the background.
I totally agree with you … Some new author doesn’t know about forum or these types of threads … So they do it as a simple way like Google it and everything is available for them …

Also, I have noticed the people who upload them there. Say you can download it for free. So newer users or who have not even been on the forum. Assume they can.
