Why does this not work but there is no error?

basically, ive made a script so that the person can tap on the character to customise, for both the mc and love interest.
it works for the mc , however it doesnt let me customize the love interest when i tap on him for some reason. ill send some screen shots.

hopefully i can find the reason why i cant tap on him
the screen shots are just where im guessing the reason why i cant tap on him are

I believe it should just be …

} “BLANK” {

… since using tappables is similar to choices. Let me know if that works!
