Why I love valentines day (from a single person)

I’ve never had a valentine ever in my life but i love valentines day. I love the color pink, red, and white. I love all the cute pastries and desserts. I FREAKING love the plushies and my favorite flowers are roses. I’m also obsessed with gothic valentines theme. That’s all I wanted to say. Make sure to drink your water.

No offense, but I hate Valentine’s Day (especially if you’re single on that day). You’re just walking down the street and you see people holding hands, and getting chocolate’s, it’s like no… just no. :weary: it’s a good reminder that you’re single on the one day of the year, that couples appreciate each other.

I’ve been single all my life so Valentine’s Day isn’t so special to me besides the chocolate and teddy bears my dad buys me :tipping_hand_woman:t4:

I personally don’t mind valentine’s day (except for all of the obnoxious pink that surrounds the holiday)

Well, what I actually like is the day after valentine’s day. All chocolate is at least 30% off on February 15th, which definitely makes up for being single on valentine’s day :sweat_smile:

I celebrated my first Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend this year. Was it romantic? Not really lol. Did I receive any cute gifts? Hell no! It was nice to have a Valentine but the day wasn’t that special. Plus my birthday is the next day so :woman_shrugging:t2::rofl:
