Why is it skipping this part of the story?

So my character chose a drink earlier the options were
Coffee
Hot Chocolate
Cola

I used the lables
gain Coffee
gain Hot_Chocolate
gain Cola

so later on when they get there drinks I used this code which remembers the choice the reader made earlier

You can’t space out gains.

Well, you need to change that last option to just “else,” the previous options don’t need “chose” in them, and the names of gains can’t have spaces in them.

In other words, try this:

YOU (talk_cup_neutral_loop)

CHARLIE (talk_neutral_loop)
