Regarding the GOOD STORY tips.

Well of cause good directing is advantage but more important is that the story itself is interesting for the reader.

So what makes interesting story?

On first place it is the writing itself the way how you build up the scdnes dialogues and characters. The plot is also important but nto so much as a good writing style…because even if you have the msot dramatic plot if the writing is lame reader will not be interested but even a simple plot like highschool love might be werry plesant to read if the author has goor writing skills.

Some tips for good writing.

  1. GREAT CHARACTERS
that means they are believable for the reader… the reader understands what kind of person he is from how he behaves. Making the characters 3D so to say is essential.thay must feel like a real person. That also mean they have to react on situation based on what kind of character they have…and if for some reason you have to make them react differently you must make it understandable for reader or he will simply not believe your character…like if you write totally rude macho type of man and he then got hysterical about pigeon sitting on his car.that will be rather strange and without explanation that he has bird-phobia people will think WTF?? Always ask yourself - why your character does this.
Also developing the character is important …from 0 to hero from bad guy to good guy.it might look like a cliche but when your character is not at all affected by hat is happening to him it is not much interesting character… the change does not need to be drasticall but some development mainly of the main character is essential.

  2. GRET DIALOGUES
goes hand in hand with above - great characters have great belieavable dialogues.

  3. RIGHT SPEED
Most beginning authors are not able to feel the speed of their own story usually ending up with making it either too slow or too rush…
Too rush - is typical that author doesn’t know how to fill the small talks among characters and jumps from scene to scene and the story ends up so rush and unpleasant readers stop reading. The other less usual extreme is too slow…usually this happens to the one who gives a lot of narrators and explanations while there is not really much happening in the chapter.

  4. IF YOU WRITE ABOUT SOMETHING REAL - KNOW IT
The worst thing is when you start writing about something, for example, your MS is construction manager…but you know absolutely nothing about how this job works…you end up with many laughing readers who happen to know and our story will be for them not believable…if some topic you do not know much about is essential for your story make research first

  5. RIGHT INFO IN RIGHT TIME
often writers want to build up mistery on the beginning but do not want to give away too many informations.which it absolutely OK, but you have to know how to do it to make the reader interested istead of confused.

  6. BUILDING UP ATMOSPHERE
in mystery, for example, you have a more and more heavier atmosphere till th culmination.in romance, you build up the relationship amond the characters step by step

Well there is for sure lot more but this sit ste first coming up to my mind.
