Iā€™m a huge feminist and believe in equality- no, equity. And thatā€™s my point. Two different things cannot be equal. A man cannot hit a woman because they have a born physical advantage- itā€™s just proven. That sucks, but it is how it is. I honestly think no one should hit anybody; however, if a girl hits a guy as hard as she can, she may break his nose, but if a guy hits a girl as hard as he can, he may break her neck. If you talk to women who have been hit by their husbands for years and years and understand the power dynamic, then maybe youā€™d understand more.
