It is in America ^.- Itâs become a gross, evil, man-hating movement here. Everyone believes treating the two sexes fairly, but weâve made it to this point now. First and second wave feminism did what was needed, so feminism isnât needed here anymore. It is needed else where. Feminists just like to whine about how âstrong female characterâ is a section in Netflix. Mainstream feminism.

I wonât be engaging with or skimming this thread any further (some of the views expressed in it are what I would call personally upsetting), but as a woman, I really appreciate this comment. Youâve written something that truly lays out the complexities of the issue very well. I know it can take time to write out a lengthy and thoughtful comment like this one, and Iâm grateful you did so.

Indeed - everyone generalizes when they say pretty much anything. It should go without saying not all, not all, not all, but most every time we say anything at all. Otherwise, itâd take everyone twice as long to really say anything at all.
This actually isnât anything to do with womenâs rights. The idea of not hitting a woman has existed for centuries. Itâs just one of the âconvenientâ things some feminists were reluctant to get rid of when they were demanding equal rights. Not all feminists wanted to keep that, though.

We live in a world of advancement .But people who still havenât realised the real meaning of feminism belongs to the old stone age.
Every man and woman born on this planet has equal rights and equal access to everything. People who believe that both the genders must be treated equally should be called a FEMINIST.
But todayâs feminism is something like slapping a manâs face hard and making him tied to chains. Rather than fighting and demanding for equal rights,the-so-called-feminists suppress and shout at men as if they are seeking revenge for something.
Feminsts today are:
- Aiming to castrate men
- Hating men for no reason or they build up reasons
- Talking out loud,simply screams for their sake
- Thinking men are evil
Modern feminism is just waste. There are feminists who work for gender equality but a larger part of the whole just scream out for no use.

Itâs so sad that people care so much about women. We shouldnât believe all women because there are women out there that do falsely accuse a man of rape and that can ruin lives.
People are so dismissive when it comes to men & boys being victimised by women. How can someone claim to support menâs rights but throw men under the bus just because they were victimised by women. DISGUSTING!

If you believe in equal rights, think of both men AND women. Men and little boys have struggles too. Women have it worse but that doesnât mean men donât have it bad either.

Yeah, I get what you mean. There are some women (and men) who think theyâre godâs gift. I know some âfeministsâ (not feminists if they donât want equality) think theyâre better than men, but once people start considering themselves better than others it isnât feminism anymore.

Thereâs also so much double standards with teacher-student relationship.
Like, if a male teacher has sex with a female student, everyone thinks itâs disgusting and the teacher should go to jail. But if a female teacher has sex with a male student, everyoneâs praises the student. 
itâs disgusting either way.
Ive seen men who says stuff like âI wish my teacher/babysitter raped me when I was 11â. Or âitâs every guyâs dream to have sex with their babysitter, or either, theyâre gayâ.

I was about to say the same thing. I canât believe there are guys that stupid to think like that. Nothing hot about being raped.
Men can be severely traumatised by these ordeals and itâs angers me to see these idiots throw men under the bus for this.
