I think it’s because people think women are fragile and weak.

That is the actual reason. Many people still think that women aren’t capable of looking after themselves and that they HAVE to look after the children.

What that means is that people laugh at guys who get beaten up or harassed by the “weak women” and give women children in custody cases almost automatically. Because women should be gentle mothers.

These are hard things to change because it involves changing how people think — every single person. That’s really difficult. When people go into a case for custody and sexual assault, they’re going to favour the “poor weak women” if they think men are stronger and more capable. We’re humans and we naturally want to protect the things we think are weak and helpless.

As for feminism: it’s actually the far right community that took the 100 or so bad feminists from tumblr and made them look like the whole movement by spreading their nonsense around the Internet. Normal people like us who actually care about men’s issues fell for it and stopped calling ourselves feminists because we didn’t want to be associated with those feminists.

I say we take the word back and own it. Make it mean something important and useful again. Reclaim it like the LGBT community has reclaimed the word “queer”. Because at the end of the day, statistically it’s usually the men ridiculing other men for getting beaten up or assaulted by women, not the feminists. People seem to forget that.

I agree with some of what you said. Men can definitely be dicks to each other. Less women will definitely be like “You’re a man, why are you letting a broad assault you, wtf???” It comes from the fact that women are almost always the physically weaker sex. Like it or not, we just are. Women have different strengths than men and these two are supposed to compliment each other. There’s a reason we’re like this. Physical strength is just one of those things men have more than women; they’re supposed to.

Also, the feminism my party talks about is mainstream feminism. Good luck getting it back and turning it into anything useful or meaningful at all. And I mean that. I believe we should really just let it die. Some things can’t be reformed. You need a purge and a clean slate.

I pinched my fiance in public once, and of course he pinched me back. Some lady stepped in and was yelling at him, like, woman if we can’t even play around anymore in public, there is obviously something wrong.

Why can’t everyone just see each other as human beings and stop being so mad about everything.

Women say they have less rights than men, but it’s the opposite. There’s a difference between being equal and torturing men. I think some women have taken this too far and I’m sick of it. Apparently when a women punches a man, everyone thinks it’s so empowering. But when a man punches a women, he’s taken to jail. I normally avoid swearing, but wtf? This has gone extreme. So when a women kills a man, apparently she’s standing up for women’s rights? I think we should be equal, not women being better than men. Now people are even saying things like sport and articles of clothing are ‘sexist.’ That’s a word I’ve grown to hate. People are saying cheerleading is sexist and dresses are feminine. Sometimes, I feel like I can’t walk out wearing a pink dress and carrying a pink handbag anymore because people are like ‘look at her. She’s so feminine. Don’t be like her.’
This has gone too far.
