I’m thinking of a scene where the MC is walking down the hallway and finds her roommate shirtless with his doors open while he’s on the phone, so the MC takes a little peep from the door to "appreciate the view 
" then questions herself if she should knock on the door not to look rude. The rest is spoilers. I think this scene would match MC’s personality of clumsy and easily distracted. Would this scene be appropriate?

I think it’s fine. It seems quick and not like a creepy peeping Tom situation.

Ive seen many people do this in stories, it builds character— well, in my opinion. I don’t think it’s inappropriate, if he was nude then well, that’s another story.
