I’m about to release a story based off what I’ve learned in psychology class and some of my personal issues.
It does include gangs and assassins, but don’t automatically think it’s cliche.
The genre is a romantic drama. However, there’s a theme. I want people to understand that the “bag guys” aren’t just bad people. In no way am I romanticizing anything along this topic. The further you go into the story, you’ll understand that it’s about understanding criminals.
I’m not saying criminals are good people; I’m saying they are who they are because of their environment, lack of guidance, and their psyche. I learned a lot in my psychology class, and it’s taught me why I am the way I am. I also incorporated some of my personal issues into the MC because I don’t like to talk about my personal issues very openly. Therefor, I’m talking about it through a story with some changes of realistic fiction into it.
Is anyone interested? If you are, and you want to know when the story will be released, I’ll be making another thread later.
If you want a tag to be notified, lmk!!
The MC is not. The MC is an assassin, she’s in a gang.
The story will be told like a book. The MC in present time is in jail, telling a psychologist, whose also a writer of books, of how her actions landed her in jail. This will break down each step, and how it contributes to the MC’s psyche
Honestly, this is one of the most interesting ideas ever! I’ve always been interested in psychology and the ways people think and if your story incorporates deep, dramatic life problems then I’m all down for!
