Would this code work? Advanced use of if/elif/else and using three character points. What would the "else" be in this code?

Hello,

I’m currently writing a story and there’s a scene I want to play out using three character points: “ALEXANDER,” “SIRENSHUMANS,” and “SUSPICION”. The actions of the scenes will be the same, but the dialogue will be different. I’ve posted the same question before, but a reply I got was that only four of the how many things I put in the if/elif/else code would work and that I was overcomplicating the code. That is true. Now all three points I want in the if/elif/else code be is >0, =0, and <0 (since the point ranges for each character points is in that range). This is the code I rewrote and was wondering if this would be correct and all options would work:

if(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER >0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION =0)}
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER =0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION >0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION =0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 AND SIRENSHUMANS >0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}elif(ALEXANDER <0 and SIRENSHUMANS =0 AND SUSPICION <0){
}else{
#ALEXANDER <0 and SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION <0
}

What would the “else” be? Would it be (ALEXANDER <0 and SIRENSHUMANS <0 AND SUSPICION <0)? Or what would it be?

Yes, because you didn’t state it anywhere else so it’s the only outcome that’s not covered :slight_smile:
