So I just got an idea for the Fairy Tale contest, but I want to know if it would be qualified. A few people said it would, but I want more opinions/thoughts on it!

So I’m sure we all know the story about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. This fairy tale is invoked in that! So here’s the story idea:

Possible Description:

It all started at the Bear family’s house. But now, the bears want their revenge!

Possible Title

Goldilost!

(If that sounds cringy, I’m sorry! Like I said, POSSIBLE title!)

Synopsis:
In the story, Goldi and her family are just a normal happy family. But then, the Bear family figure out their location! They want to get revenge! They want find Goldilocks! They want to hurt her and her family!

One morning while Goldi was at school, the bear family broke into her house! When Goldi came back home after school that afternoon, Goldi’s family wasn’t at home. They didn’t answer their phones, and they didn’t even leave a note! But the bears did! They left a note saying that, “We have your family! If you want to see them again, you’ll have to find us… if you can!”

Goldilocks is terrified by this news! She now has to find her family! Join her as she and her friends figure out where her family is and how to stop the bears!

I laughed when I read this :smiley:. It seems like it would be a good comedy/adventure story. I guess I just have one question: why are the Bears after Goldilocks? :thinking:

BECAUSE SHE ENTERED INTO THEIR HOUSE, ATE THEIR PORRIDGE, SAT IN THEIR CHAIRS, BROKE BABY BEAR’S CHAIR, AND SLEPT IN THIER BEDS!

But make it more like uh, a modern. Like make the bears police, and Goldilocks is wanted for various crimes. Something like that, make it different. Make it more fresh and creative.

i mean if that is what u want, their your characters, it doesnt always have to look exactly like the characters in the fairytale.

I think the story would work and depending on how you write it it can be in fantasy /adventure/comedy/mystery/thriller?

And as for how to make them bears - you don’t have to! The point of he contest is to put your own spin on this, so you can think about what else can the bears be? They may all be ginger, have bears, be a family with a dark secret which is why they need to get rid of the Godlilocks family?
