Heyy, I‘m just now getting started to write my new story.
And I was planning on including a body shape choice, but i’ve realized that it’s quite some work to do it.
So i wanted to ask wether you would choose Plus-size for your mc as a reader. i know that not all the readers are on here but i just wanted to hear others opinions on it since i still want to do it.
I think some people would, I added this option in one of my stories and people thanked me for doing that 
I would not, just cause I’m not plus size, but for someone that is plus size is definitely something importante to add.
I would choose it definitely 
but it’s up to you. If you feel like it’s to much work don’t stress.
Most people wouldn’t like it. But I personally would. Maybe make it plus size at the start and then she goes to female soft body. This is just cause some pp don’t like the plus size.
I personally wouldn’t choose plus size for some reason only God knows but I still think you should add it in just in case!
Yeah sounds good. Some people would choose it and be happy. But personally I wouldn’t because I am not a plus size uk what I mean?
It depends, sometimes I want the MC to look like myself, sometimes I’m not bothered, since I’m not personally plus sized, if it was the former then no I wouldn’t, but if I wasn’t bothered at that time, sure i might go for it if I’m given the option. I just find it weird how we have plus sized women but not men
I definitely would! The only reason why I don’t is because the clothing is very limited. If they had more, I definitely would.
I would read a story with a plus size MC too!
Yeah, i totally get you. I wouldn’t choose it either but i don’t want anyone to feel left out, so i’m still torn between the two options
Yeah, me too. Even though i’m optimistic they will add it soon since episode is a lot about diversity at the moment
Is your story a choose your own ending? If your character doesn’t actually have a specific name or look, I would recommend adding a choice for every body type-- it’s not really all that hard! You just have to make 4 duplicate characters for it.
That way everyone gets what they want.
If your character does have a specific look, I suggest keeping them the same.
Even though it’s possible very few people will choose that, I’m sure that a lot of people will definitely appreciate the fact that you added that option.
If you’re welling to put the work in then do it. I thank its a good idea
I would give the option. It may be a lot of work, but plus sized people will appreciate being able to play as someone that looks more like them. Just make sure that theres no body-shaming that isnt punished because I feel like theres going to be 1000s of makeover stories that are going to have a plus sized girl be the nerdy ‘fat’ loser who becomes skinny- reinforcing the idea that skinny is the only way to be pretty. Which is super negative- especially for young impressionable kids reading on here.
i thought the exact same thing, but in my story the body shape won’t matter for the storyline, it’s just, so people can make the character look however they want. Can i still add the normal customization template for different body shapes?
i think i’ll add the option, since the story is full customization. 
You should since the facial features and stuff are the same with either. I would make sure to have a few plus outfits planned out for any dressing games though. Theres not a lot to choose from yet so I’d definitely get creative lol
I would be open minded to anything (I guess it depends on the story), but I am going to be honest, I think most people would opt for a skinny MC rather than a plus sized
