I’m very new to the whole “writing” experience on episode but I think I wouldn’t. As it was already mentionned above, I just can’t figure out how is it possible to reduce a 20+ chapters episode story to a 8 one without impacting the character development, the whole “slow burn” things (for romance), I feel like everything would be happening to fast.
I’m also not very enthusiastic about gem choices. Yeah, I know it’s literally what makes the app run.
When I downloaded the app, it took me a while to understand how it was working but especially to understand the difference between users stories and Episode stories. I’m not going to mention the name of the story, but I remember an Episode story where I didn’t end up with my LI, because I didn’t have any gems to unlock gold choices. It was partircularly frustrating because I knew I was missing out.
I think it completely altered my reading experience. Then when I discovered about gem-free premium choice, it was… life-changing, to say the least. And that’s why I don’t read Episode stories anymore.
I wouldn’t want the new readers to be disadvantaged compared to the old ones who has full access to all the premium choices for free. I feel like it would be kinda unfair.
