Would you still read my story?

So I’m working on an Episode story, but I intend it to be more like reading a book, than making it an interactive optional type of story. I was wondering, is there actual people out there that would be interested in still reading a story like so? There will be customization in the boyfriend/girlfriend (whatever sexuality you choose and main character, as well as her parents but that’s really it. Would this be a deal breaker to most?

Others opinions may be different but respectfully I would not read the book.

I go on episode to read episode stories and ones that are like that. Im not asking for choices or CC, personally I dont care for that. If a story does not have choices I dont mind as long as it is still “formated” Thats not the word I was looking for, hopefully you know what I mean like an episode story should be. All I ask is for the episode experience. I have tons of books at home that I can read but I chose to go on episode because it is different.

But I think its cool that you make it so that the reader can choose their sexuality, I have not learned that yet so its cool to me,

It’s still going to be Episode formatted lol, I mean’t like a book as in you don’t get to choose what goes on, it’s more like you watch and read what happens to the characters, like in movies.

For me personally, choices is a must. There is currently a lot of stories like you have in mind and they are just not it.

What do you mean by “are just not it”?

I actually like reading that kind of stories (as long as it has a good plot and writing).
For me it doesn’t need to have impactful choices, sometimes it just gives me stress, and when I choose the wrong one I just want to throw my phone at my wall (I can’t be the only one…).
Like maybe some choices, just for another dialogue are already enough. As long as it has outfit choices this is just my personal preference, I like to choose what to wear to make it a little more interactive.
I’m currently starting to write my own story, and I’m planning on doing one storyline with just some choices for different dialogues.

Those little dialogue choices can make it so the reader is more engaged in some way, but won’t get stressed when a choice comes up.

I hope this helps:)

For me, I enjoy reading those types of stories and I don’t really like choices… Maybe that makes me odd… lol

I don’t mind those kind of stories as long as there’s good directing and a well-written plot, as well as well-developed characters. I’ll give it a try! Tell me when its out!

I honestly hate timed, right/wrong choices and points. I go to episode to de-stress, not re-stress.

This is going to sound really weird or dumb or something… but you can set the time to 1000000 or a really big number, right?

Just wondering because your post made me realize how stressful those choices are.

Idk :joy:
I tried using timed choices and somehow I got from a timed choice to pausing for over a minute so I stopped trying to use them.

I personally love either.
If a story is set more like a book or movie where I’m just a reader without any input, I’ll still happily read if it’s written well.

Yup, I don’t mind stories with no choices as long as they are VERY GOOD and keep me captivated the same way a book or TV show would.

If it’s well written and I love the story line (and plot)… I don’t mind reading it…
