Write a story! How?

Hi!

I wanna write a story but I have no idea because when I start It’s easy but at the end of the day I don’t like the story… call me a perfectionist or whatever but that results in me not continuing! How do other people do because IT’S HARD :disappointed:

Do you have any tips?

Hey! Just keep coding and writing. Unfortunately, a lot of writers aren’t happy with their works, including me, but there are SO MANY people who will enjoy what you write!

Sometimes, it’s best to watch or read a book based on your genre and if it’s slightly similar to your story even if it’s just the character personality. This will give you a lot of inspo to write!

If anything, maybe step away for a few days and come back. Look at your work with a fresh mind. Sometimes even outline the story plot. So from the start, the middle (climax) the peak (drama) the slop (resolution) and the end. This will help you a lot especially if you have writers block  doesn’t need to be detailed, just enough for you to see what needs to be done and maybe change it up as you write if you feel like you want a slightly different flow

I’d say just delete everything you wrote and start off with something completely new. Try to come up with a plot which YOU would enjoy reading, and you’ll automatically start enjoying writing it, too.

There’s no point in writing something if you don’t like it in the first place because you won’t have much motivation to continue. Plus, you won’t even enjoy the process which is extremely important especially on Episode, where coding takes a long time and becomes tedious unless you’re really enjoying what you’re writing. So try going through your favorite stories/books/movies and figure out a genre you enjoy and start brainstorming ideas. Else try using writing prompts—they’ve helped me a lot!

Good luck with your story, I’m sure you’ll come up with something great
