Writers' Cave šŸ’

Thank you. So I did get the template, and am coding oufit choices but I have no idea what will happen afterwards.

It’ll come to you eventually

Thank you.

Hi I am for the first time entering a contest and i’m not quite sure how it goes. Since the deadline is just 11 to 12 days ahead and that makes me a little nervous of whether i would be able to cope with it or not.Anyways what i want to ask is I’ve seen that many contest winners after the contest they continue writing their story.I mean how do they bring a rapid end that allows them to continue writing the same story after the contest is over although every contest has this condition that the story must be complete (correct me if i am wrong).I would really appreciate if someone could answer this question because the story i’m working on for the contest is a little bit more than 5 episodes maybe so how can i avoid that effect of silly rapid end that leaves readers often confused to create in my story.I’m really sorry if i don’t sound clear because I’m a little bit nervous right now.

It’s completely okay to be nervous and have second thoughts, everyone feels that way before greatness. :slightly_smiling_face: I’m not quite sure, but I don’t think it’s an issue to leave a story unfinished during a contest, I’ve seen many contest winning stories being continued after the contest is over, but again, not sure, it’s best to @ the episode team to check. :yum:

There was no length requirement for the previous contests. For the Thriller contest you have to submit a complete story, but I think you can still write a season 2 after the winners have been announced. If you decide to do this way, make sure to close the storyline somehow, but maybe leave a few questions open so that you can continue writing it later. Good luck!

You’re most welcome :slightly_smiling_face:

With the writer’s portal, has it gone back to its original state. So so happy!

So, I’m writing my first chapter. It’s going well, so far. I just need to brush up my spot directing for a school scene.

How’s it going with the spot directing?

Still trying to figure out the scaling. Hard.

Yeah, that’s the hardest part, but it’s the one with the best results!

Really? Why?

Spot directing just adds so much more to the story, to me at least, I feel like everything just gets so much more realistic and cool

Ah. That does make sense. So, I got the spot directing… Planning for the next scene… I’m wondering if it should be mature or not… Because the protagonist and her boyfriend were kissing in the hall…

Don’t go too crazy with the scene :joy:

Damn! I went straight to Phyllis’s introduction scene! But hopefully I’ll include it in the next scene :smirk:

You have really gone through the motions haha. Congrats though!
