Does anyone else start new stories without even finishing other stories halfway? I get so caught up with my new ideas that I have likeā¦ so many stories in my Wattpad and Writerās Portal draftsā¦

I do. Iām practically an addict now, but Iām going through recovery. My recommendation is to try to merge all the new ideas you have to your existing stories (if you can).

Yes! Story of my life. I try to not publish any more ongoing ones though. I just work on them in secret so readers donāt find out that thatās why I havenāt updated

I barely update. My readers probably think Iām dead. I got so busy with school and got lazy that I wasnāt consistent. However, my writing is DEFINENTLY better compared to 3 years ago, so yāall will wait.

I updated in 2017 and 2018, but they probably think Iām a ghost by now. Eh.

Or does anyone only really write late night/early morning? I get this like ābuzzā to write whole chapters from 10 pm to 3 am. When I KNOW I should be sleeping.

Yeah. Night time is usually when I want to write but canāt because my mom will get on my case.

Itās taking me a century to write
I understand I wrote between 11 and 4 a.m. but it gets hard because my parents are so strict. But they donāt understand thatās my creative time and time to express myself if that makes sense.

Even through writerās block, you write. Just dump all of your thoughts into the portal and something will strike you at some point, promise. Thatās not saying you have to sit there for hours, you should take breaks, but writing anything is much better than writing nothing.

im a night owl so i mostly write at night. i dont necessarily write in the portal, though. i go one google docs or my notes and write down as if i was in the portal, then the next morning id paste it and fix teh errors

That works well for me. I write whatever is in my head atm and later when I get a rush of inspiration I add something, remove something etc 
That way I have something like a draft in front of me already.
