Writers' Cave 💭

I’m a night owl so my best writing is done at night then during the day. Though I go back through during the day to fix the mistakes I made. It’s probably because you have nothing distracting you at that time of night and it makes you focus more.

Am I the only one who can’t find the time to write cause of a hectic schedule and feeling horrible about it or what?

Oooh, I feel this. I actually have decided to skip sleep now and replace the usual sleep time with writing time. Would not recommend, so many typos :woman_facepalming:

I gave up sleep too, just not for writing, for school
Which makes it even worse :joy:

Hi guys, Is it bad that I’m so ambitious with my story with less knowledge about coding?

Its totally okay, as a matter of fact, it’s amazing! Because you’re willing to learn and develop. And besides, no one’s first story is coded perfectly, it’s how you learn, you make mistakes. When I first started mine it had beginner written all over it. Everything from character development to script to coding to everything. But as I wrote more and more, I noticed the huge shift in the storyline. So I went back and revamped the beginning cause it felt unbalanced. It was very simple and basic at first and as you move along with the episodes it got better and better. You’ll get there too! Just focus on improving bit by bit. :relaxed: As for the character development, you’ll only be able to pick the qualities as you first start, but the character’s personality will grow with the script you write. It’s kind of weird :joy: the sentences sort of write themselves in a way when you’re working on the character. But you need to lay down a few pointers on what you imagine this character will be, and build it up from there.

Awesome advice!

Any opinions on a spoken intro in the first episode?
