Youâre welcome!
Iâm a night owl so my best writing is done at night then during the day. Though I go back through during the day to fix the mistakes I made. Itâs probably because you have nothing distracting you at that time of night and it makes you focus more.

Am I the only one who canât find the time to write cause of a hectic schedule and feeling horrible about it or what?
Oooh, I feel this. I actually have decided to skip sleep now and replace the usual sleep time with writing time. Would not recommend, so many typos
I gave up sleep too, just not for writing, for school⊠Which makes it even worse
Bump! Been a while writers, hasnât it?
Just started my story.
Ooo what is it about?
Well, itâs for the contest, and itâs a murder mystery.
The main character is black and Iâm trying to figure out my overlaysâŠ
Oh thatâs amazing! Best of luck with the contest
Thanks!
You saved the thread.
I couldnât let it die
I mean⊠Itâs our writerâs cave so⊠
Hi guys, Is it bad that Iâm so ambitious with my story with less knowledge about coding?
not at all! a lot of people are vice versa, and to me, the story is the most imporant thing so
I see, any sort of advice on how to develop the characters?
Its totally okay, as a matter of fact, itâs amazing!
Because youâre willing to learn and develop. And besides, no oneâs first story is coded perfectly, itâs how you learn, you make mistakes. When I first started mine it had beginner written all over it. Everything from character development to script to coding to everything. But as I wrote more and more, I noticed the huge shift in the storyline. So I went back and revamped the beginning cause it felt unbalanced. It was very simple and basic at first and as you move along with the episodes it got better and better. Youâll get there too! Just focus on improving bit by bit.
As for the character development, youâll only be able to pick the qualities as you first start, but the characterâs personality will grow with the script you write. Itâs kind of weird
the sentences sort of write themselves in a way when youâre working on the character. But you need to lay down a few pointers on what you imagine this character will be, and build it up from there.
Awesome advice!
Any opinions on a spoken intro in the first episode?
