Hi! You may have seen that I made a thread asking who would want to participate in a writing class to see if I should make said class. I decided to go for it, and here’s where you can sign up! If you want to join, simply say it below.
This class will be taking place on google classroom to make managing easier. The following lessons will be included:
- Writing a plot : basics
- Writing characters : the base
- Writing characters in depth : flaws and subtlety
- Planning a story : writing before coding
- Writing dialogue : speech by character
- Writing character relationships : how do perceptions of each other and interaction affect character development, how we develop together or apart
- Writing character development : changing goals, perceptions and how relationships grow or fall apart based on change
Each lesson is accompanied with one or more task(s) (basically homework but you can ask me anything and it will be my pleasure to help you) to help you practice your writing. The more we go, the more we’ll incorporate lessons into our scripts to eventually (hopefully) complete a short story (or you could use these lessons to help you finish writing a story you’ve already started).
Ratings will only be there so you can be motivated to improve, not to bring you down. If you ever have ideas you’d like to implement into the class, please share them!
