Writing in props for my script

Hey! Can anyone help me with my script? I am trying to write in props but they won’t show up at the right time. Instead the show throughout the story even though I placed the @add prop in the right scene and the @remove prop before the next scene.

Is the cup prop supposed to be in their hands while they do the talking animation?

If yes, try this out:


@add Cup Plastic Blue to JADEN
@add Cup Plastic Blue to SAMERA

&LACEY faces left AND LACEY starts ANIMATION
&SAMERA faces right and SAMERA is ANIMATION
&JADEN faces left AND JADEN is ANIMATION

So the cup pops up at the right time now, but doesn’t leave at the right time.

Okay, you want it removed right before the next scene correct?

Try it right before the next scene, like this:

@remove Cup Plastic Blue from JADEN 
@remove Cup Plastic Blue from SAMERA

EXT. CLIFFSIDE CITY - NIGHT

I’d suggest trying to remove prop before the transition iris out, and after and see which works best. But do try out what I typed above.

Ah I just noticed.

You added the BLUE plastic cup, and you are trying to remove the RED plastic cup.

There is no red cup to remove. Make sure you’re using the correct prop name.

Can you show me your script again?

Did you refresh the page and preview, without skipping forward? As in, no clicking inside the scene with props and then in another scene, through the script if that makes sense. Or skipping 10 lines at once.
