So I am wondering how people write, let me begin by saying
I don’t take notes unless I come up with a great idea, and I am afraid I am going to forget it.
I actually woke up in the middle of the night to start a story just because I loved the idea of it.
I test the story after every scene change, and when it comes to choices I always test the story on the browser with both choices as well as in the app.
I feel like it takes me forever to write.
How does everyone else do it?
I actually write just like you!
For my recent story I got the idea in the middle of the afternoon and started making it an hour later.
I’m writing a new story right now and I just started writing notes so I won’t have to improvise when I make a scene and get burned out.
I also test the story after every scene change so I won’t have to correct everything at the same time later.
It took me two weeks to make an episode, but at least I know there are no mistakes! <3
I write the same. I’ve woken up at 3 AM from a cliffhanger I came up with. And my 100 year old of a memory wasn’t going to be my friend that next morning. Although I write everything down.

LOL ok good I am not alone, I started 3 new stories because I got a bunch of creativity at once, and it wasn’t anything I could implement into my current stories, so I made new ones, do you ever find that happening? I have only been able to finish one story so far, and I am even planning on doing a bonus episode of that, for a spin off story.
Hello! Firstly I wanna say that it’s okay to take a while on your story, sometimes it feels like everyone is fast while writing and you’re taking ages, but that’s totally okay, so don’t worry about it!
Secondly I would say, take notes of literally anything that comes to your mind, you never know when it can be handy either for future stories or a specific scene in your current one. Now for planning, I usually have the overall idea of the plot, but then I start to think of drama to add into it. I don’t know what genre you’re thinking of but just incase. Take the plot you have in mind and think: What kind of drama would fit in it? For example if it’s a racing story, make the MC and LI rivals, so there’s competition between them yk? And so on…
Sometimes even date ideas come up in my mind, and I immediately write them down, knowing myself I’ll probably forget them sjhdja

But yeah that’s my input on this! I hope I helped and happy writing!!

I literally have 5 stories in the portal (they all spawned from an idea I got randomly) that I wanted to make but I just didn’t know where I wanted to go with them
I do find myself taking notes at work for ideas, but with my current job I have the ability to write more than I had before.
The 3 stories I started I think I am going to let them only go to 13-15 chapters, my first really good story (that has a bunch of reads) I took it to chapter 36, I don’t know how people are going to feel about only 13-15 chapters, but I have some stories I really need to finish, I just haven’t had any ideas to add to them, I keep coming up with new ideas.
Maybe read a book or watch a movie that’s a similar genre to yours, and take inspiration!
I’ve tried. I find the ideas coming more from past experiences and photos.
I do it the same way as well!
I have like what, seven of those?
I mean, there are three types of writers: pantsers, plantsers, and plotters.
Plotters are the guys who plan the entire story from scratch before writing it.
Pantsers, aka me, are the ones who basically only have a vague idea of some parts of the story, such as how the story starts or just a single cliffhanger idea. They just go with the flow and write what comes to their minds.
Plantsers are both combined. They write-down just some scenes that they want to include, you know?
The first thing I do when I write is plot out every major plot point, although more ideas tend to pop up on the way. I never start a story until I have the plot and ever cliffhanger, plot twist, and surprise put into place! During the actual writing, I tend to write as much as I can and I ‘Save And Preview’ if I ever feel like I’ve done something wrong. I also make sure to Save and make sure everything’s in order after I make choice branches- especially when they’re longer.
