Writing your Dialogue

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to put this topic, however I was wondering, when we write our dialogue and we have more than 1 line of sentences to use, how is it suppose to look for example;

I have a couple of sentences and the first one is getting a bit long so to break it up to go onto another line I would need to put a , but because it isn’t technically a new sentence I have to put a capital because I would then get an error saying" Did I forget to capitalise the first sentence". Is there a way I can make the sentence flow better or is that the way it goes?

I add a ‘-’ at the end of the first line. For eg.:

This sentence is a bit too long-
Thus I write the second part in the next line.

Or you could maybe use … like this:
This sentence is a bit too long…
…thus I write the second part in the next line.

But … breaks the flow a bit. It’s like the talker is hesitating or something.

It worked Thank you, I was putting the … at the end of the sentence but never thought to put it at the front.
