Y’all I cried today (happy tears)

My dad (who comes from a super anti-LGBT+ family) came home today with a “proud dad” shirt. I literally lost it. He told me he would wear it to school tomorrow since it’s casual Friday for the teachers.
So many people aren’t accepted in their family when they come out and it just reminds me how lucky I am that my dad (and the rest of my family) supports his very gay, nonbinary teen.
As soon as I told him of my new pronouns, he made it a point to make sure his students were addressed by the correct pronouns.
Sorry just had to share how awesome an ally my dad is. :rainbow_flag: :prideheart:
