My school is starting video lessons for all subjects next week… before I only had video lessons for English, maths and science. :frowning:

It’s so annoying. When I was in class a class clown or people who would not stop chatting would interrupt us and we wouldn’t have to do it all in one lesson. Now they want us to get through weeks of work in (1) 50 minute period.

Ugh, yeah that is annoying. I am in the same boat. I have just chosen my subjects for the next year. Because of the virus we had to have a phone call meeting and I had to pick 4 subjects out of the ones I have currently. I picked my 4 and the teacher says to my mum that I shouldn’t take one of them because you can’t do exams on this subject it doesn’t go higher than N5 but I only like it because we get to bake and do crafts. I also don’t want to take on most of my subjects on further so it is annoying. I don’t want to stay on and go to college. I hate having to choose something that I might hate in the future. :face_vomiting:

Same. I chose art, digital media, computer science and hospitality and catering (food tech). I picked computer science because we get to learn how to code and I think because I can already code on episode it should be pretty easy. And I picked art because I want to get better at traditional art, like sketching and painting. :blob_hearts: :blob_sun:

School atm is a literally a nightmare… I had a Science test today and I cried :frowning:

To be honest I think that some teachers at my school shouldn’t be qualified to teach. In my biology class every week the same stuff happens. We are all throwing stuff at each other, leaving the class, fighting or just being rude. Our teacher does nothing…

I would continue yelling about my science but I have a chemistry test and I’ve gotta study

same!! I feel like a failure and i keep missing assignments!! I should be succeeding but adhd gets in the way. And I always cry over school. I’m really thankful for this post because I feel like i’m not the only one. Don’t worry you’re not alone.

SAME!! I’ve been losing so much motivation which is why i have an f in spanish. Let me rant about spanish . First its the same work over and over again. And a lot of it. We never have homework and its the first time i’ll ever say this but i wish there was homework. i should be thriving in spanish. ITS LITERALLY MY FIRST LANGUAGE!! but the teacher doesn’t grade and she gives me f’s because i’ll get the answer wrong or i forget to send it to her email. And why email why cant she set up a google classroom. Sorry for that little rant but i just need to vent.

To be honest, I’ve been handling school alright. I’m still on As and 2 Bs, but my parents still get disappointed when I have 80% or lower on assignments and quizzes. Not to mention how strict they are on camera rules, like they only let us turn it off if they feel like it or if we have wifi issues; they don’t understand the fact that people can literally take pictures of me just focusing in class and just make fun of it. I just don’t like that, but overall; teachers and school has been a breeze and they are very nice to me! It’s just the camera issue, and when they always call us out to answer a question when we aren’t focusing that bothers me. :confused:

I can relate to crying over school. That happened in the first lockdown in my country after that I stopped caring so much.
