Your turn-ons in a story!

Hey guys💘 I just wanted to know about your “turn-ons” in a story ahaha
Mine are totally : Attractive main character, advanced directing AND when authors use “talk_repulsed” animation!:joy:
What are yours?

This is probably gonna get merged but…

I really enjoy when authors actually try & put effort into writing in directing their stories. Sadly most of the trending page can’t relate :woman_shrugging:t4:

My “turn-ons” would probably be:
~ Well-developed characters
~ The ‘friends/besties to lovers’ plotline
~ Creative and/or smooth directing
~ A well-presented or aesthetically pleasing cover
~ A gripping story description

•Diversity
•Characters that ACTUALLY have personalities
•Strong female leads unlike cough Mj’s stories
•This is weird but when episode stories teach you something if you know what I mean?
•Stories that talk about serious topics in a mature way that is going on in the world today i know you may find it weird. But I love it oof.
•When the love interest isn’t annoying or abusive
•Advanced directing (but I don’t mind simple)
•when authors takes a relationship nice and slow instead of fast and the mc is already pregnant
•When the author puts funny scenes that can actually make me laugh
•Choices that have consequences idk I like them
•not being cliche all the time
•a lovable main character

I acutally prefer stories with no customisation and no choices. That way, the writer can use more advanced directing and they can create a better experience for the reader in my opinion.

I prefer stories that don’t have a main character that’s perfect. Cause in real life no ones perfect and if the main cause in a story is perfect I just don’t feel connected to them. Also I love it when the author has really weird intros wearing weird outfits :joy:

CC(not Limited CC or CC with art scenes)

Choices(bonus if they matter)

Resevered MCs

I can choose/change my MCs clothing(and its not revealing) (bonus points if its gothic or the babydoll dresses)

A choice to be with the LI or not

When the LI is a gaurded/loner/sarcastic(not a douche) and wears dark clothing(not a “bad boy”) or well developed like Cody from infected(love his personality)

Non sexual relationship between the MC and LI

P.s.:if anyone knows any story like what i described pm me

  • There is romance, but it doesn’t bulldoze the entire plot

  • Distinct, memorable characters that are fleshed out and stand out from one another
  • Good character design! And creative outfits that suit a character’s personality!
  • Dialogue that accentuates a character and narration that is sharp and well-written
  • Backgrounds that suit the atmosphere
  • Multiple love interests that are different, yet all suit the MC in one way or another (unlike stories that tend to favor one LI and it shows)

Not ordered from most important to least:

  1. MC who isn’t “I’m so tough I can be rude to everyone!” or “I’m just going to smile and do the awkward animation.”
  2. Diversityyyy. :heart_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
  3. Less romance focused.
  4. Good writing
  5. No clichĂŠ plots
  6. A well developed antagonist.
  7. An LI who isn’t a bad boy or a golden boy.

I mean not every school has dress codes though

Most do. Doesn’t disprove my point.

But they do have some sort of dress code. I don’t really see any schools letting you go in naked or wearing just a gurdle.
