Zooming into Backgrounds

Hi everyone,

I’m just wondering if anyone can tell me if it is possible to zoom into a certain part of a background without any characters on the screen yet. And if so, how would I do it?

  1. when you are in preveiw

  2. click ‘show helpers’

  3. then click camera

these will help you move the area the way you want

If your coding on the laptop/computer you can also do this.

So when you have written you background into your episode portal like so:

EXT. JUVIE OLIVER ROW HOME - NIGHT

put the zone number of whichever zone you wish for, like so:

EXT. JUVIE OLIVER ROW HOME - NIGHT
@cut to zone # (number of zone)

then click save & Preview and you’ll be able to zoom in the background without any characters yet.
