Won’t you fancy for an animation like that? Like when the MC is preparing to kiss or be kissed but it’s not quite kissing yet.

as cool as i would be, it would not work since a face would be covering the kiss anyway. since characters, cant be in side view. and no they cant just make that, it would mean redrawing evry single outfit, hair character. they only exist from two sides

unfortunately this is correct. they are 2D characters

I know that the characters are 2D and I know what they could and could not do.
I uploaded 3 GIFS but the only one showing is the least close to what I meant.
My English is not that good but I’ll try to explain myself better: The “receiving character” raising up his/her chin, maybe opening his/her mouth a little bit and closing his/her eyes to receive a kiss and the “giving character” well doing the giving action to that.
I don’t know if I described it a little bit better but in my head it it totally can be done.
It’s something close to flirt_liftchin_receive_shy and flirt_liftchin_give_rear
