How to move characters to a specific spot?

I honestly looked at a lot of forums talking about this but- my question is-

How do you know where exactly to put it?

Like x or y? Like how do you know the number of the spot you want to put your character in?

You’d have to use spot directing.

I know but how do you know what numbers?

You use spot helper for that, and then you copy the coordinates that you get into your script. Here is a thread by @RudeInception, she explains it very well: Spot Directing (Moving Characters Around)

I suggest you check out Joseph Evans on yt his tutorial’s have helped me a lot considering you wanna spot the characters check out the spot directing vid it should help! <3
