Low-key annoyed by the 20k reads mark… So 3 chapters with 10k reads can get on the shelf but stories with 20 episodes and 40k reads can’t?

Whilst I’m not annoyed by the 20k cap, I understand what you’re saying and agree in that retrospect. As much as I love to promote hidden gem stories, I know Episode will probably include at least one extremely popular author’s newly released story because it only has 3k reads and will most definitely ignore the fact that it’s only been released for a week or whatever. They’re bad stalkers. We know this by now.
In saying that… Here’s a shit ton of suggestions for them to consider for the shelf that I think won’t upset the majority of community, should they be featured. Well, idk actually… maybe some of my suggestions would piss people off since some of them are by authors who have had other stories featured and the post said it should be “up and coming authors”…But there was no definition on that so idk

I do agree that the “up and coming” part is a little ambiguous because I have been in Episode for nearly 3 years so I’m surely more inclined to be “down and going”.

Bahahaha. Tbh, I think they only added that in for the sake of wording. If they wanted “newer” authors, they would be doing another Rising Star shelf where there was more requirements, so I think just recommending ones I think are underrated should be fine
