So I made an art thread about 2 months ago where I was doing free commissions for art practice and now it’s locked. Is there any way I can unlock it so I can reply to people with the finished pieces ?

You may have to just PM the customers instead, you can submit a support ticket if you feel there is a mistake.

but most threads close after one month of inactivity so the most you can do is what @/daisyy_6 said

You can messages @Sydney_H about it to see if she can re-open the thread. I know that after 30 days without interaction on the thread they close them.
You can also message the people directly for their art
