Hi everyone, I used to be on forums around 1-2 years ago with a different account, but I’ve impulsively decided to publish my first story and entry into the Own Voices Writer’s Contest.
While I have my own personal gripes with the guidelines and nature of this prompt and these rules, my ultimate goal was to create a story I wish I could’ve read when I was younger: one about AAPI and diverse teenagers simply having fun, living life, struggling, and existing. This is my love letter to you all out there! : )
This is my first time promoting, so this still feels kinda awkward, but here goes nothing.
With all this being said, I present:
Once in a Blue Moon
Genre: Rom-Com
Description: ⋆ As Spring blossoms, twins Aster & Astrid are forced to learn a new set of rules as they navigate school, love, and those beautiful, rare moments that define us for a lifetime. ⋆

Here is a bulletpoint list of miscellanous things to expect.

Basically, just the misadventures and mishaps of a pair of Chinese-American teenage twins, written by a Chinese-American.
I’m considering doing some 3X3 read for reads currently, no G4Gs. Ultimately, I just hope that whoever wants/needs this story, finds it. Thanks for reading!
