Remove the slow in line 16 and see if it works.

lines 11 and 12 - they shouldn’t have space at the beginning, and unless line 12 is a background I don’t think it should be all caps

this looks like a background and overlay, they are not placed correctly, also you need a pause in between two backgrounds

also may I give an unsolisted advice, dont have an author character. those are a red flag, for me I leave a story if I see them. they are also a waste of time.
