Too much focus on romance. It feels kind of rare finding a story with a good story line rather than the focus is about some guy and girl all up on each other

-shy/quiet MC and excited best friend

  • super stereotypical gay best friend, black best friend, latino best friend, and then "calm’ white friend
    -rich mean parents
    -MC and LI get together in the first 3 episodes
    -popular mean girl thing

When the LI pushes the MC into a small room or closet, as someone who is claustrophobic that to me is not cute or romantic because I would be freaking out. Especially if they are blocking the only exit.

When the LI dates the MC’s rival because they can’t date the MC out. Not only are you stringing along someone who you don’t like to make someone jealous you are also wasting that person’s time
