There are plenty of reasons. For one, some of us readers would like some representation, and would like to play as someone who looks more like us. Two, some of us readers are very creative people and like to let our creative juices flow by changing up appearances. Three, some people just like to play as themselves because they know scenarios that happen in certain stories would never happen to them in real life and need some validation. Those are just a few reasons.

I really just prefer no CC, but if there has to be CC then partial. I hate full CC.

It doesn’t matter one way or the other to me; I’ll read stories with full partial, or no CC.
