I know this might sound like a super silly question, but does anyone know what this means or what it does?

Because I’ve seen it multiple times in choice formats but what does it mean/do?

Does it work if I want to put lonely 2 choices per page? Or does it have to be 6 per page. And if it works how can I choose the number of choices in each page?
