Quick question about uploading a backround image

Hey, I have a quick question about uploading an image for a backround.
Can I upload a backround image I like off google or does it have to be something I’ve made? In stories I’ve read I’ve seen backround images from google. Also if we have to make it, how would I do that?

As long as there are no water marks with logos it will be fine from google… that’s where I get mine from
