Authors stereotyping Hispanic or Latino characters to be these Sexy players (or “feisty” if it’s a girl). stereotyping applies for a lot of POC characters as well. No research is done about their cultures, they just throw them in there so they can use google translate to make them sound cULtuReD and diVeRsE.

Too many filler chapters. Nothing major had to happen every episode but it shouldn’t just be a few thousand lines of stale content.
This one isn’t really about stories but it’s about authors: thinking they can get away w/ being racist or homophobic just because they have hella reads. Also their personalities changing after they get “famous” and they start taking the people that got them where they are for granted or they act super rude towards their supporters in general. Like relax sis no one outside this community knows who tf you are😂

when episode turns a user story into a featured one, great for the author and all, but suddenly you get all these 20 diamond options every 5 clicks, most of which have absolutely no purpose at all? i have a lot of diamonds to burn so when i was playing don’t call me angel i was like sure, fine, i’ll pay for these choices, and deadass i am not even joking the majority only add a few extra lines to the scene NO JOKE. same with last girl standing, the original is a hundred times better. they tell you the flare gun in the premium outfit will be of use, and then you never fxcking use it.
- listen, i love cc just as much as the next person, but i’d love if authors incorporated ethnicities/races whatever into it. like, telling the reader this character is meant to be (e.g.) black and limiting the customization options, especially if it’s important to the story. same with LI’s. cc is not diversity.

forced attraction, mainly in features stories. when the bff is all yOu LiKe dReAmY mCdReAmERsOn dOn’T yOu and mc gets all awkward and blushy, when i’ve avoided all possible romantic options with them (usually a him) like it’s the plague.
- lack of diversity in plots and genres. where are all the thrillers? psychological thrillers? horror? murder mysteries? hell, just a pure comedy shxt show? it’s always romance and drama with the occasional modern fantasy. don’t get me wrong, i’m a sucker for those. they can be done very well, like House of Twelve (i think that’s what it was called? it’s a magicka entry), STRIPPED, etc but i’d love to see new content. please. give me some murders to solve
- ANOTHER LACK IN DIVERSITY POINT where are all the arabs/middle easterns? muslims? jews? south americans? slavs? i promise, they exist. not only do they exist in north america, but you could also centre a story around a country that, i don’t know, isn’t the USA? just a thought

The lack of good horror/ thriller stories is due to the Episode restricting what you can do in a story, it all has to be PG-13 so that means you can’t have a gruesome death or murder scene, you can’t show a lot of blood or violence and you’re limited to how you describe a scene.

oh, I get that, I totally do. but I’ve read some pretty fucking amazing horror/thriller books on episode that didn’t have to involve over-the-top gruesome scenes. episode definitely has limited resources, but some writers have really found a way to walk around this obstacle!

I did that in my story… the MC is Lebanese, and although I offer CC, I made sure to mention that although you can choose any look you like for her, she will continue being Lebanese no matter what.

One thing particularly annoys me (even though it’s relatively benign) is those outfits which use the deep v swimsuit with tight pants. Just … why as a fashion choice in general, plus especially with the red swimsuits the bottom appears on the right pants and looks like a lady accident
