How do I change the name
It tells you when you click on the templates.
It dosen’t work
If you follow the instructions correctly and in order, it works.
I did but it still not working
What about it isn’t working? What exact steps are you doing?
Thank you so much, life saver over here!
I did ctrl and f and try to write my character name but it dosen’t work
You need to read the instructions carefuly and follow them in order
I did and it still not working and I did it 5 times and it still not working
If you’re just pressing ctrl + F and then immediately typing in the name, then it won’t work because those are not the instructions.
- HIGHLIGHT the name
- press ctrl + F
- CLICK ON ALL ON THE BOX THAT WILL POP UP
- THEN type in the name.
Thanks so much!!!
I did all that and it still not working
Hi! I need a little help figuring out how to put the desk overlay that comes with the episode background behind the girl in the jacket, but I don’t know how since there is no overlay name for it. Or is there? If there is, what is it called?
If an overlay is attached to the background, you would use the background name as the overlay name to layer it (or animate it).
INT. TEXAS AIRPORT OL - DAY with INT. TEXAS AIRPORT OL - DAY at layer #
Thank you so much!
I have another problem! I want a certain overlay to move in sync with one of my characters like this:
@overlay Backpack Quilt Stitched Open Top Leather Ivory shifts to 1.280 67 15 in 5 to zone 3
@YOU walks to spot 1.280 67 15 in zone 3 in 5
But when I typed that in, the overlay wouldn’t appear and I kept getting an error message.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
The shift command only uses the x and y coordinates. If you want to add the scale size, that’s a different command: @overlay OVERLAY scales to % % in T
More on overlays here: A Guide to Using & Animating OVERLAYS
I’m still a little confused. What command should I use then?
Just remove that scale size from the shifts command.
@overlay Backpack Quilt Stitched Open Top Leather Ivory shifts to
1.280 67 15 in 5 to zone 3
